I assumed that they would understand that if you cut (rather than trim) curly hair that the results are more drastic than if you cut straight hair. I should have researched the stylists experience & expertise more thoroughly and asked more questions when I made the appointment for her but maybe she just happened to get the newbie on the block. I am so sorry that I entrusted her to this salon without going in with her and making sure that the stylist followed through on my daughter’s desires and wishes. It’s hard to forget when she has to look and deal with her hair all day every day. I feel so sad for her because $110 out of my wallet later, she is struggling with the outcome and there is absolutely nothing to do except wait a really really long time (years) for her to get back what was lost. When she washed and dried it herself, it looks a little uneven. Her hair in some ways reflects her personality and that got lost too. After speaking with the manager over the phone, I was told that they had recently had a bunch of no shows and while I had a great history over 10 years, they still had to cancel because I did not text them back at 7am to verify the appointment. I still arrived at 9am, only to find that wh ile their business hours begin at 9am, no one was there to open up the facility. The morning of, Muse text me at 7:30am that my 9am appointment was canceled due to me not confirming the appointment that I had scheduled one week prior. I had rescheduled with another hair stylist a week later. This past month, I had a hair appointment for a cut and color with Kat and it was abruptly canceled the day before because she was no longer with them. I have been a customer of Muse for over 10 years and used Kat Orr as my go to hair stylist.
